St. Marks with a colortwist

Posted by
Ragnar (Moss, Norway) on 31 August 2011 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

I was bored and I played around in PS Elements, and this was the result. A plain picture from St. Marks square with a lot of people in it seemd to plain and boring. So I tried to make it black and white, and give the color back to the clock tower. I am not sure how good it turned out..

@Olivier Paillet: Thanks :) It was fun to try and "paint" back the colors in element with masks!

It's all a bit strong for me, think I'd prefer the straight black and white.

@Curly: I tried for a dramatic effect with a lot of contrast and for the clock tower to "pop out". The plain raw picture with a lot of people on the St. Marks square, just looked to common and boring! I'll try something different with this picture tomorrow to see how the effect is (still a mix of colors and bw).
