On the streets of Venice

Posted by Ragnar (Tromsø, Norway) on 21 October 2009 in Documentary & Street.

This is a typical Venetian street, and a big part of why I loved Venice! It is narrow, nothing is level, there are a lot of colours (mainly rust red and yellow) and there are a lot of atmosphere.

In my opinion one of the things everybody should do before they get to old, is to get lost in the alleys of Venice. It is a fantastic experience just walking around with a camera, crossing bridges, never getting in the direction you want to and ending up in a totally different place than you planed imagined!
