So cold... But still fishing

Posted by Ragnar (Tromsø, Norway) on 3 April 2009 in Landscape & Rural.

Today i got up before 7 am and got in the car with my dog. We drove abut 30 km outside of town to a place called "Hella" where it usually is a lot of fish to catch. Today however we didnt get anything, anything but cold hands that is. It was -4 outside, not counting the windchill. At least the weather was dam nice!

Thank you so much for looking at my photoblog.

Beautiful, rugged place and you captured it perfectly. Cold....yep, I know what you mean. I'm waiting for a spring here too..

@Roman: Thanks Roman. I have a better picture tomorrow, with a view out over the ocean from the same place. It looks even colder (and so desolate). I dont know about Thunder Bay, but here spring seldom comes before May, and in extremes years we can even have snowstorms in May.

DarkElf from Perth, Australia

beautiful landscape, captured in superb light! excellent detail and sharpness!
